You can’t be a settler on your own homeland. I’m guessing you’re Dutch so please enlighten me as to how Jews returning to their homeland resembles Dutch and other European colonizers slaughtering native Americans and stealing land that they have absolutely no connection to, or alternatively how homey Europe was for the time diasporic Jews were forced to be refugees there — forced as a result of violent Arab conquests in Israel no less during the 7th century. You are no expert, as you said yourself. But I would be very careful about the terms you employ. And for the record, you can refer to human rights violations and atrocities without invoking buzzwords like “settler colonialism”
