YESSSS ugh it’s like the twilight zone 😹😭 like I know this isn’t a social media-specific problem (like it’s already been a thing, stuff like cult leaders telling their followers to eat so much colloidal silver they turn blue and ridiculous things of that nature) but it sure feels like social media takes it to a much deeper level. And it’s just like so omnipresent I don’t think most people are even aware that they’re seeking advice or information from essentially trolls. It’s rough!!
