Yessss so true and agreed!! I saw something last year that was like “normalize not knowing, and normalize changing your mind” and I think about that a lot… not that a lot of folks don’t necessarily have good intentions in trying to keep up with what’s going on around the world etc, but we’re also human beings. We can’t all literally be historians and geopolitical experts of absolutely everything in existence. I really don’t think human brains are meant to have textbook-level understanding and “perfect” action-oriented sympathy for literally every single perceived or actual injustice across time and space. I mean, it’s a nice idea I guess? But in practice just a lot of pretty robotic and tbh manic sounding nonsense from people who can’t see their selective concern (and historical revisionism) beyond the concrete socialized narratives they’ve subscribed to.

It’s hard to be a human these days haha 😅😭 but it’s great and really uplifting to connect with reasonable people!!
