WOW I never heard of Trans widows how incredibly fucking disgusting that that exists. I had a friend who went a similar evolution with her wife/family, it's so tragic. I'm so grateful Sarah had a friend like you--community is such a life-saver (literally) when it comes to this level of ostracization and alienation!! I was so so happy to read the end of this story and know that she's in the loving relationship she deserves now. But damn, trans people should not have to be dehumanized by the people who purport to love them just because they dare to exist. I'm sure it was hard to recount all this and write it out but it's such an important story, so thank you for sharing it!!!
