Well, believe it or not, the majority of people in the world are antisemites, so I’ll go ahead and keep using the tactics that I see fit to combat antisemitism because I am Jewish and I have no interest in making antisemites feel comfortable.

I genuinely couldn’t care less if you like or agree with my words or approach; the very fact that you remember them so intensely is ironically validating that each of my calculated responses is functioning precisely as intended.

Let it sink into your brain and fester there as doubt and defensive rage— first towards me (or so you think) and ultimately towards yourself, because you know I’m right.

I would ask if you would say the same thing to a Black person confronting racism on here, but I’m quite sure you would! At least you’re consistent 🤪

By the way, trying to suggest this “critique” (read: nonsense from another grifting Medium “writer”) was “NARROW” as though the contents of the article and the very protest itself wasn’t inextricably tied to Israel/Zionism/Jews is truly magical thinking.

I know you’re more logical than that, bud. Imagine if someone wrote an article about how difficult it was for the police officers who have killed Black people, and how many people they have saved over the years and how much they’ve contributed to a safer and freer America.

My guess is that even though it was NARROWLY focusing on the complicated lives of these officers, readers would always obviously comprehend that such an article wouldn’t exist in a vacuum— and would instead most likely function as a piece of propaganda (maybe in a rare best case it would earnestly try to highlight nuance around PTSD and the complex identities of police who are people and make mistakes but should still be held accountable, but probably not on Medium!)… because you can’t extricate a prominent story (or person/event/etc) from the charged context in which they have gained notoriety. ESPECIALLY not when it happens amidst a surge of bigotry (and backlash against that bigotry).

Your selective concern may work for you on the most superficial level. But I’m glad I’ve seeped into your brain. Try meditating on it :)

Have a nice weekend!
