This is so damn accurate!!! I feel like one of the most evil successes of capitalism/tech culture is convincing people of all ages of the superiority and now the perceived availability of eternal youth (with the right contouring and Botox!). Like maybe everyone will be okay with cyborgism or something because the only thing that matters is looking young forever. It makes me sick. I know we’re all just human and Gen Z is coming into a dumpster fire world but I get so disappointed that the same old shit gets peddled — maybe even worse because of social media — by people that I keep hoping will know better and do better.
