But what I find particularly disconcerting about your response is that your key takeaway or at least your main impetus for commenting seems to be some subtle indication that the *actual* injustice at play is some conspiratorial ploy to antagonize women.

I cannot emphasize this enough, PLEASE resist the urge to weaponize identity politics (e.g. someone's status as a woman, or as a person of color) in order to absolve them of personal accountability.

Sally Kornbluth is a Jew, and that didn't stop her from being a rabid antisemite. Claudine Gay is a Black person, and that didn't stop her from being violently racist. The fact that they are women is absolutely irrelevant. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here, but next time you feel the urge to scapegoat and distract from antisemitism in order to shift victimhood onto the perpetrators, please don't. I understand that may not have been your intention. That's how it's coming across. You literally could've commented the first line without the second two sentences that started sounding QAnon-y and antisemitic (even if you're Jewish, which you may be).
