There's email evidence in here. You are the type of self-loathing woman who upholds every aspect of the patriarchy and pretends that it's in the name of "dignity." Nothing short of witnessing an actual rape firsthand would make a pitiful person like yourself believe that this story is true.

Most of the time, there is no written evidence/records of these kinds of incidents when they happen, hence why they are so common. Is it seriously so incomprehensible to you the idea that some megalomaniac older male politicians might take advantage of their power for sexual gain? Was Anthony Wiener innocent too? This is a phenomenon that is unbelievably common; you do realize that women have only been allowed in the workplace at a large scale for around 40 years, right? And yet it's still that shocking to you that Cuomo, who was reared in a time when women were still essentially disallowed from most of these places of power, would harbor any kind of overt misogyny?

Remember Trump's "grab 'em by the pussy" comment? For morons who need to hear it straight from the horse's mouth, there it is. And yet, for many of these people, the delusion that "ALL MEN R PURE N INNOCENT THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS SEXISM UNTIL THERE'S OVERT RAPE CAUGHT ON TAPE" even this will not suffice--it'll be dismissed as "locker room talk."

And yea, there's a lot of reasons to hate Cuomo. Having multiple accounts of him sexually harassing women who work for him is important information for people to know about a public servant. Especially a public servant who has recently been *lying* about nursing home deaths in order to make himself appear better politically during an epidemic.

Ma'am, I so deeply pity your children. Get a hold on yourself and snap out of it. People like you are the reason why people like your daughter might get raped (1 in 6 women will) and never come forward about it for fear that nothing will ever be "proof" enough to not be victim-blamed. People like you are reasons like people like your son might go full Brock Turner and rape someone and never take accountability or be held accountable in any meaningful way.

Governor Cuomo being a classic megalomaniac chauvinist pervert doesn't mean he's a "bad" person; it doesn't even mean that *none* of the work he's done in office has ever been valuable. It means we are in the midst of continued NECESSARY cultural shifts (I'm sure you're aware of the deep economic disparities between men and women that persist long after the Equal Rights Amendment, the continued lack of representation of women in politics, in business, and other positions of power they've never had access to--and I'll bet you blame them for it! Gotta love bootstrapping! Damn the context!).

You can stubbornly cling to the past, including myths that "working hard" or "making choices" to evade sexism are the simple fix-its to systemic issues that have lasted far longer than the inception of this country. Or you can take a moment to ask yourself, why do you hate women so much? Is it because you actually have been sexually harassed and no one believed you? Are you paying forward the cruelty? Did someone accuse you once of something that you didn't perceive to have done even though... perhaps you did? Everyone's got a story. I know you weren't born coldhearted and cruel.

I'm sorry for whatever you've experienced that has made you so vile and apathetic. I hope that someday, for your children and for the sake of a better society/world, that you can look inside and investigate why you are like this. You don't have to be a self-loathing bully. You can be a critical thinker who is on board with the presumption of innocence AND give some very baseline recognition to the way that systemic gender oppression operates in our society, and even make some paltry attempts at empathy without assuming that ANY woman who accuses a powerful person of sexual misconduct is doing so for personal gain. After all, newsflash, what on a personal level do you actually think a woman stands to gain by people en masse denying her traumatic experiences, blaming her for them, and effectively ending her career working for other powerful people/organizations that would consider her a liability? Use your brain, ma'am. Have a nice day.
