Thank you so much Janice! Yes I completely agree--there are days when I read the New York Times (I'm a glutton for punishment I guess) when I just want to scream. *This* is what deserves attention? I find myself repeating that over and over again. It's really maddening sometimes--especially when it's coming from media outlets that suggest they are "above" average standards and beacons of integrity. At this point, if it's for-profit media, I'm harboring what I think is a healthy skepticism because it's gotten pretty ridiculous out here!
