Thank you so much for sharing, Megan! I think it’s profoundly beautiful to be able to admit to yourself what you really want — even if it doesn’t necessarily match what you thought you would want in theory. That is some really powerful stuff, and I really believe from the bottom of my heart that that will lead you directly to what it is that you truly need. I know there can be a lot of heartbreak and sometimes even a sense of regret in past experiences that can sometimes be regarded as “failing” in society, but I agree with the old Oprah adage here, there are no wrong decisions. It sounds like you may have had to go through the motions of non-monogamy (as I did too) in order to arrive at a deeper awareness and trust of your intuition, desires and needs. And that is a gorgeous place to arrive at!!! Sending you lots of love.
