The Vietnam War was entirely a function of the United States intervening in foreign politics without there ever having been a violent event that brutalized and provoked American citizens, which is partly what garnered so much understandable contention and protests.

You don’t see October 7 as an event worthy of Israelis defending themselves against the terrorist regime next door (which uses civilians as human shields and all but ensures there are high casualties, since they’ve built themselves billions of dollars of tunnels but never created infrastructure to protect their own people, and even deliberately operate in and next to schools, hospitals and mosques in order to maximize damage)— because you hate Jews.
