My article "centered on Jews" period -- this was a dialogue for and about Jews; saying Jews are indigenous to Israel doesn't negate that Palestinians are too. Those are not mutually exclusive, and I think it's telling that that is your reaction.
On the contrary, I need to explicitly state this because, as I'm sure you are aware, there is an epidemic of disinformation suggesting that Jews in Israel are merely "white settler colonists" as though they are like Americans stepping on a land they have nothing to do with for the pure joy of violent colonialism. This article, FOR JEWS, is intended to clarify that popular lie that dehumanizes Jewish people and attempts to erode our connection to our homeland. Notice no one in pro-Israel marches is saying "Palestinians are colonizers, go back to where you came from!" even though historically in the scheme of history, it is technically true that Palestinian Arabs are descended from colonizers. But, as indigeneity is a complex topic, the vast majority of Jews believe in a two-state solution because we do in fact believe that Palestinians very much have a right to sovereignty and dignity on their homeland as well.
In fact, I doubt you even read this article, because in the very SECOND paragraph, I specifically called out the need for Palestinian sovereignty. Since it wasn't clear to you as you assume the worst from a ZiOnIsT, let it be officially proclaimed that I mean IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL, as fairly as possible split between a Jewish and Palestinian state; an imperfect solution to a land that multiple people have a birthright to. Happy? I doubt it.
I doubt it, because I'm not sure you can tell me concretely and very specifically what "freeing Palestine" means without expelling Jews. I also disagree with settlements and think there needs to be reform in Israel's government and accountability (hence why hundreds of thousands of Israelis were protesting in the streets for MONTHS against Bibi before this horrific massacre).
It's antisemitic to suggest that Jewish people don't deserve a state when the vast majority of the world is literally split up into ethnostates, a great many of them Muslim Arab ones. Jews are allowed to have this small piece of land. Palestinians can live alongside them in a state of their own. Palestinian people have rejected no less than 7 peace proposals. Hamas's charter calls for the genocide of all Jews everywhere, so there is no coexisting with a government that wants all of your people to painfully suffer and be exterminated.
I won't entertain your lunacy about comparing this to apartheid in South Africa lmao. 20% of Israel's population is Arab, and they have full and equal rights, representation in parliament, can marry whomever they like, and they are uniquely exempt from military conscription, though many of them choose to fight anyway because SHOCK they like their country! Israel is an exceptionally racially diverse place, with a majority of visibly Brown Jews who are of Sephardi, Mizrahi, Beta Israel etc. ancestry. I'm visibly Brown and I'm fully Ashkenazi.
You are perhaps concerned about being accused of being an antisemite because you harbor subtle and/or overt antisemitism. Don't hide it! Be yourself :D we already know <3
