lmao what? People who FACILITATE that pressure--at levels that have never even been seen by humankind before the advent of expensive surgeries as we know them today-- do not deserve empathy. Do you get that her entire brand and livelihood is people picking apart her life? Hence why she so voraciously posts intended to garner envy on social media to begin with? The Kardashian's have become such a cultural cornerstone of unrealistic body image (and cultural appropriation, among many other toxic behaviors) that discussing them is EVERYBODY'S business. And by the way, before you go accusing everybody of perpetrating patriarchy with yer white feminism, please keep in mind that the writer is a gay Black man, and the gay community has pretty much as toxic of body image issues as many women feel under the patriarchy. Men are also affected by the patriarchy (including its forefathers such as Kris Jenner and family) and are at liberty to discuss and pick apart all of the toxic aspects of it. Don't read writing by men if you don't want them to speak, and definitely don't coopt the very valid writing of a Black man to satisfy your own self-loathing white feminism.
