I feel that so hard! Yea I definitely still get frustrating backlash from fellow Zionists when I talk about the human rights violations against Palestinians and how urgent it is for Israel to make changes towards justice. But if I'm being completely honest, that reaction usually comes from a lot of older Jews, and I understand their fear (that Israel would be annihilated if it made any changes--which is pretty clearly not true). But the past year it's been much harder for me to talk to anti-Zionist Jews about the conflict. Any insinuation that Israel has any right to exist is shut down completely. I really wish that people, even in matters that we have strong opinions about, were willing to hold more space for complexity. Anyways, I'm sorry you've also been experiencing that :( it's really hard and can feel super alienating.
