How is this racism at its finest? A Black person critiquing media that is marketed to and allegedly based on Black people is reasonable. Just as calling out its shortcomings (as any human has a right to do for any piece of media) is reasonable. Do you understand how fascist it sounds to suggest that any person who critiques any of the social implications of a piece of media is a "racist?" You know who else didn't want anyone to critique the social implications of media? White people who loved minstrel shows. That's what you sound like.
And by the way "racism" refers to the systemic injustice that follows the dominance of one race over another. Blackness is by every measurable standard (and common sense. Hello, how did Black people get to America?) oppressed and marginalized by white supremacy in America. By this definition, a Black person cannot be committing "racism" against white people -- they could discriminate or be bigoted or hateful towards them which is toxic and harmful, but a Black person explaining how a piece of media (from a predominantly white production in a company that is literally making its second film "about" Black people ever in its almost hundred years of dominating the children's movie market) came across as insufficient and still somewhat racist to them does not qualify as racism.
Would you care to explain further how this article fits that box? Or do you just like calling names and getting defensive about how you couldn't possibly be guilty of perpetrating racism (only Black people do that to themselves, right? It's all an illuUuUsion!)?
Also so pathetic deliberately misgendering the author. You're clearly self-hating because you take joy out of being cruel to people. And you know what? I'm not happy about that. Only someone deeply sad could rejoice in being so mean, and I don't think you or anyone deserves to be so miserable. I hope you find some joy or something that convinces you that there are other things to value or put your attention to other than being hateful or defending hateful behavior because you derive some ephemeral joy in seeing people as downtrodden as you are feel bad. I'm sending you so much-needed love and well wishes.
