Excellent article. Thank you for bringing this to people’s attention. I was sad to read this as a fan of the show, but stand in solidarity with the WOC who were abused by Hassan. What a grave disappointment. Probably unsurprising as he always had a smarmy flair, but still.

Beautiful critique of the left and identity politics. I’m disgusted by the people commenting that they didn’t get enough lurid detail to find this credible. The same people who still wouldn’t change their minds or hearts even after the women poured out their souls and destroyed their careers and STILL didn’t get justice, as happens all too often. People want “gory details” for voyeurism but pretend it has to do with some faith in the justice system — as if accountability is virtually ever served in situations like this.
