Dude, get over YOURSELF. Don’t read the article if you don’t want to hear someone analyze media — the title was very clear. And whether you want to think so or not in your oblivious fantasyland, media literally reflects and informs culture. It is not only valuable to critique for the sake of introspection and general self-awareness, but also has huge implications for how we evolve as a society. To pretend that entertainment exists in isolation just for “fun” is as ridiculous as claiming you’re “apolitical.” Newsflash, there’s no such thing as “apolitical,” there’s just the reality that some people have enough privilege and lack enough self awareness to understand the consequences of their actions or general accountability.
